Tancredi Biondi Santi, Winemaker
Tancredi Biondi Santi was born on July 23, 1991, in Siena and spent his childhood between Montalcino, Siena, and Castello di Montepò.?After the studies in Viticulture and Oenology in Florence (Firenze), he continued a lifelong, hands-on involvement in winegrowing and winemaking.
From an early age, he worked in the vineyards and cellar in Montalcino and at Castello di Montepò, gaining direct experience across all stages of production, from harvest to vinification.
Castello di Montepò represents the current chapter of the Biondi Santi family's winemaking history. Tancredi is fully involved in the estate and serves as co-winemaker alongside his father, contributing to vineyard management, cellar work, and the long-term qualitative direction of the wines.
He lives between the winery and New York City, where he is also active in the international market development and global positioning of the family estate.
