Katelyn Claunch, Winemaker

Katelyn grew up overseas in a military family where her love for food and wine was sparked. She studied Sustainable Foods & Bioenergy at Montana State University while working in a steakhouse, where she became interested in wine. She worked as a sommelier at the Yellowstone Club in Big Sky, Montana, before moving to Italy to earn a Master's in Viticulture & Enology from Università del Sacro Cuore and intern with Giuseppe Quintarelli. Katelyn later became Head Sommelier at Antica Terra in Oregon, passed the Advanced Sommelier Exam in 2023, and is now pursuing the Master Sommelier Diploma. Katelyn is thrilled to share the gospel of cool climate pinot noir and  chardonnay as the National Ambassador for Lingua Franca & Sea Smoke.
