Jolene Hunter, Winemaker

Jolene Hunter

• Born in South Africa, Jolene attained her BSc in Viticulture and Oenology from

Stellenbosch University.

• Completed harvest internships at Boekenhoutskloof (Franschoek) and De Trafford winery

(Stellenbosch)

• Moved to France in 2008, arriving for Master's degree - MSc Viticulture and

Oenology from ESA - L'Ecole supérieure des agricultures in Angers, France.

• In Alsace for the last 16 years, spending 9 years at Domaine Zind Humbrecht and

then joining the Wolfberger group in 2019.

• Appointed Technical Director in January 2025 overseeing winemaking and

viticulture for Wolfberger.
