Jason Santos, Winemaker

Jason Santos serves as Director of Wine Education for the Wonderful Wines portfolio, including JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery, Lewis Cellars, and Landmark Vineyards. He brings a well-rounded background in fine dining, hospitality leadership, and wine education, shaped by experience across some of the country's most respected hospitality establishments.

Prior to joining Wonderful, Jason held leadership roles as Fine Dining Manager and Sommelier at The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay, a Forbes Five-Star resort, and as Director of Administration overseeing four restaurants across Sonoma County. These experiences, combined with a career spanning multiple other U.S. markets, have informed his thoughtful approach to wine education and guest engagement.

Jason is a Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers and a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, where he earned his culinary degree. In his current role, he leads comprehensive wine education initiatives across all three brands, while also curating elevated tasting experiences, authoring tasting notes, and overseeing the winery's cellar and historical archives.

In addition to his educational leadership, Jason regularly travels both domestically and internationally to engage with key trade partners and consumers, strengthening brand presence and fostering meaningful connections. He has also played a key role in developing service standards and training programs that contributed to The Restaurant at JUSTIN earning a MICHELIN Star, MICHELIN Green Star, Forbes Five-Star, and AAA Five-Diamond distinction, making it the only winery restaurant to hold all four honors.
