Felipe Ramirez, Winemaker

Chilean-born Felipe Ramirez has been with Rose & Arrow Estate since its inception as head winemaker, bringing with him a deep reverence for terroir and global winemaking. Raised in a family of chefs and nurtured by a love of handcrafted food and agriculture, Felipe was drawn to the land early on. He earned his master's degree in France, where he connected with Louis-Michel Liger-Belair, a co-founder of Rose & Arrow, which set the path for his move to Oregon.

Before arriving in the Willamette Valley, Felipe honed his craft in Chile, including work with terroir expert Pedro Parra. A familiar landscape, Oregon reminded him of his native Patagonia and inspired his commitment to translating the terroir of each site into every bottle.
