Date & Time
Saturday, April 11th
6:30PM – 10:00PM
Location
The Inn at Spanish Bay | Roy's

Experience an unforgettable evening of culinary mastery at Roy's at Pebble Beach, where four of the most esteemed chefs in contemporary Asian cuisine come together for a very special sit-down dinner —hosted alongside winemaker Chantal Forthun of Flowers Vineyards & Winery.

Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Monterey Peninsula, the evening pairs the chefs' expressive, globally inspired cuisine with limited-release Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from Flowers, grown high above the Pacific Ocean on the rugged Sonoma Coast. Renowned for their purity, freshness, and sense of place, Flowers wines bring vibrant acidity, lifted aromatics, and coastal minerality that beautifully complement the nuance and precision of modern Asian flavors.

Hosted by Roy Yamaguchi, the pioneering force behind the globally acclaimed Roy's restaurants and the first Hawaiian James Beard Award™ winner (1993), the dinner also features Shota Nakajima, three-time James Beard Award™ semifinalist and Top Chef finalist, known for his soulful take on Japanese comfort food; Dale Talde, Top Chef alum and James Beard Award™ semifinalist celebrated for bold, genre-defying cuisine; and Pablo Mellin, longtime Roy's chef whose cooking reflects vibrant Hawaiian and global influences.

Together, these chefs will craft a multi-course, seafood-forward menu that celebrates pristine coastal ingredients. Each course will be thoughtfully paired with expressive Sonoma Coast wines from Flowers, with winemaker Chantal Forthun guiding guests through the pairings and sharing insights throughout the evening.

Set along the Pebble Beach coastline, this intimate celebration of place, craft, and creativity is a rare opportunity to experience world-class cuisine and wines in one extraordinary coastal setting.

Expertly curated wine pairings from Flowers Vineyards & Winery will elevate each course of this seated dining experience.
