For more than thirty years, Chef Todd Fisher has helped define the culinary landscape of California's Central Coast through a career built on craftsmanship, hospitality, and a deep respect for the people behind every great ingredient.

Raised in California's agricultural community, Todd developed an early appreciation for responsible sourcing and seasonal cooking. Those values have guided his leadership in celebrated kitchens throughout the Monterey Peninsula, including Pebble Beach Resorts, Tarpy's Roadhouse, Folktale Winery, and Seventh & Dolores Steakhouse. While leading Seventh & Dolores, he established the country's first exclusive Niman Ranch steakhouse menu and the brand's first dry-aging program. Under his direction, the restaurant earned a Michelin Plate recognition and was invited to cook at the James Beard House in New York City.

Today, Todd and his wife, Ada, own and operate The Meatery in Seaside, California, recognized by USA Today as the Best Independent Butcher Shop in California. The Meatery combines chef-driven craftsmanship with the traditions of an old-school neighborhood butcher shop, creating a place where exceptional ingredients and genuine hospitality meet.

Todd has also hosted Discovery Network's The United States of Bacon, serves as a longtime Niman Ranch Ambassador, and has been honored as Monterey County's Favorite Chef. Whether speaking on the radio, mentoring young culinarians, cooking for local charities, or feeding Monterey Bay FC before every home match, he believes food is at its best when it creates connection.

Above all, Todd is proud to share this life with his beautiful bride, Ada. Together they built both a business and a family, and every holiday season their five grown children still find themselves back behind the counter at The Meatery, serving guests alongside Mom and Dad.
