Sean Mitchell, Chef

Prior to joining Daniel Energy, Sean was a Managing Director/Head of Energy Institutional Sales at Simmons & Company International for almost two decades.  Sean started his career in Institutional Sales with Simmons in 2001. Sean has worked with some of the largest public company energy CEO's around the world doing NDR's and helping with Investor Relations activities.  Over the last 20 years Sean has built relationships with many of the largest institutional investors on Wall Street and has earned their trust as someone who understands the energy sector.  Prior to Simmons, Sean was with Scotia Capital from 1996 to 2001 in the Energy Group.  Sean worked with both the Investment Banking Group and Energy Loan Syndication Team at Scotia Capital where he was responsible for modeling and credit analysis on transactions in the upstream, downstream and midstream sectors of the energy business.  Sean has a BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. Outside of his professional responsibilities, Sean is passionate about cooking and enjoys preparing meals for clients as an extension of DEP's relationship driven culture. He views time spent around the table as a meaningful way to strengthen connections, foster open dialogue, and build long term relationships.
