Gabriele Bertaccini, Chef

Born in Florence, Italy, and inspired by his family's love for food and his native land, Gabriele Bertaccini discovered his passion for cooking as a young boy. Gabriele worked for numerous restaurants throughout Italy, including internationally renowned and awarded Sabatini where he first became Executive Chef. hef Bertaccini currently resides in Venice Beach, California where he is the founder of award-winning IL TOCCO FOOD, a culinary experience company. In the summer of 2020, Chef Gabe became one of the host and food expert for Netflix exclusive series "SAY I DO: SURPRISE WEDDINGS" (2020) where he surprises and celebrates engaged couples with one-of-a-lifetime dream weddings. He is currently the co-host of the hit culinary show CIAO HOUSE on FOODNETWORK together with Chef Alex Guardaschelli. He also regularly judges CHOPPED, ALEX VS AMERICA, SUPERMARKET STEAKOUT, BEAT BOBBY FLAY and has competed on 24in24 and GRUDGE MATCH along many others. He enjoys the outdoors as much as cooking especially when shared with his four Australian Shepards. He enjoys hiking, skiing, camping, sailing and has deep passion for traveling.
