Brad Cecchi, Chef
Brad Cecchi is the Executive Chef and Co-founder of Humble Concepts, a restaurant and consulting group based in Sacramento, California. In 2017 Canon opened, a dining destination in East Sacramento offering unexpected dishes in an unpretentious setting. Since opening its doors two years ago, Canon has earned several accolades, including Michelin's Bib Gourmand, a 4-star review from the Sacramento Bee, and has been a mainstay at such prestigious food festivals as Pebble Beach Food & Wine as well as cochon heritage fire, amongst many others. In 2022 Brad and Clay opened Franquette, a French cafe in West Sacramento. Franquette opened to great fan fare and became a lightning rod for the burgeoning Bridge District. In 2024 Humble concepts joined forces with the team behind the beloved mexican restaurant Nixtaco to established Cantina Pedregal in Folsom, California. Pedregal is a contemporary Cantina, specializing in Northeastern Mexican cuisine, highlighting flavors of Monterrey and showcasing creative takes on spirits and cocktails of mexico.Previously, Cecchi was the Chef de Cuisine then Executive Chef at SolBar, the eight-time Michelin Star-winning restaurant set within Calistoga's luxurious Solage Resort and Spa. During his tenure, Solbar earned a Michelin Star both in 2016 and 2017 and the prestigious Forbes Five Star award in 2017. In 2020 during the pandemic he, his business partner Clay Nutting along with restauranteur Patrick Mulvaney founded Family Meal Sacramento, a philanthropic program focused on food insecurity. Family meal is responsible for over 2 million meals served and growing to those in need in the Sacramento Region.
