Annamaria Kosa, Chef
Chef Annamaria Kosa was fourteen years old when she chose to become a pastry chef. By the age of seventeen she had completed an internship at the Zsolnay Cafe in Budapest, Hungary and began a lifelong professional journey. This journey has taken her from J.W. Marriott in Dubai around the world on a range of five star cruise ships to New York and now to Pebble Beach Along the way she's had the pleasure of working with renowned chefs as well as the good fortune of teaching at the French Culinary Institute in Manhattan alongside chefs such as Jacques Torres, Ron Ben Israel. Anna has created desserts for the James Beard Foundation, the World Science Festival, The Plaza Hotel, The Brooklyn Museum of Art. Her style is a reflection of her journey — staying true to her roots in Hungary while incorporating new ideas drawn from her experiences. Having learned her craft with hands on guidance of chefs she believes strongly in the importance of mentoring a new generation of pastry chefs.
