CHEFSJean JohoBrasserie Jo Acclaimed Chef Jean Joho began as a 13-year-old apprentice for Paul Haeberlin of L'Auberge de L'Ill in Alsace, France, and continued to perfect his craft in France, Italy, and Switzerland. Jean also studied at the Hotel and Restaurant School in Strasbourg. In 1984, he opened Everest on the 40th floor of the Chicago Stock Exchange, one of 11 restaurants in the world to receive both Mobil's and AAA's highest ratings in 1999. Jean is famed for his personalized cuisine; he has received Bon Appetit's "Chef of the Year Award" and Robert Mondavi's "Culinary Award of Excellence." |
